Dear Katharine Brown and Fox Hill Farm;
I just wanted to take the time to thank you for all of your hard work, enthusiasm, creativity, poise and patience. You are truly an artist and captured the feeling and aesthetic of my vision…the flowers were everything that I envisioned and more for that very special day. They were cool, eclectic, not too shabby, very chic, retro yet modern with a bit of the country side. I LOVED them.
I also wanted to thank you for your patience during all the confusion with the ceremony rain delay, though I was not there to witness the sprinting back and forth from reception hall to lake front with flowers in hand, I heard, from many guests that you were AWESOME! Thank you for being so willing to make the day absolutely perfect. I only wish you were closer to New York City! As an event planner in NYC I have to say that your flower arrangements on Saturday and Sunday were some of the best that I had ever seen. As a matter of fact they were a breath of fresh air, a break away from the traditional online and local florist arrangements that you typically see all too often at weddings and special events. I will certainly make the recommendation for any event large or small if the enquiry comes my way.
The pairing of the large face burnt orange and yellow sunflowers were perfect at Saturday evenings Welcome Dinner and the marriage of the apricot cabbage roses with the assorted color ranunculus in the green glass honey jars were a dream as I walked down the aisle to meet my husband for the first time. It was perfect, simple yet it made the perfect statement; subtle beauty and the perfect pop of color amongst the backdrop of the waterfront.
The reception arrangements were a vision, I was actually sad to have to part with them after the wedding, but did end up giving them all away the next morning at the Bon Voyage Breakfast as I was adamant about not letting them go to waste. And even still, people were fascinated at how beautiful the flowers were, and were amazed at the size and range of color of the Dahlias! And the grasses added an unexpected exotic flair; thinking back, Aimee from Sweet Eden did mention that you work your magic with the grasses and so you did…Nevertheless, it was all so beautiful.
P.S. You rocked the bouquet – those purple ranunculus were stunning.
Many, many thanks…and all the very best to you and Fox Hill Farm,
Mrs. Angel Harley
